SERVICE TO THE STUDENTS

Providing Training sessions to the students, on the use of “Plaxis 2D” software. It is beneficial for the different applications in geotechnical courses and the senior project as well.

CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS ORGANIZATION

  • Attended training on instructional design and e-learning from 14 Nov. to 18 Nov.2022. The 5-day workshop was organized by the Universities Association of Lebanon (UAOLB), in collaboration with the Directorate General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (DGHE), the United Nations Education and Culture Organization (UNESCO) Beirut office, the Connected Learning in Crisis Consortium (CLCC) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

  • Gave a speech on international women's day organized by the ASCE chapter at Beirut Arab University. This event hosted a series of webinars introducing women in engineering from different countries in the world. March 8, 2021.

  • Presented in “the second Dardacha Talks- for Science Detox”, October 14, 2019. This talk was organized by the National Observatory for Women in Research, the Nation Council for Scientific Research, Beirut Arab University, and the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO

  • Attended a seminar on “Les Eurocodes et l’Elaboration des Annexes Nationales Libanais” at the Order of Engineers and Architects on the 21st of February 2019

  • Attended the 1st Academia- Industry Workshop at IUL in collaboration with the Order of Engineers and Architects on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 under the title of “Public Safety Culture: Education, Implementation, and Control

  • Presented a lecture at the conference "الزلازل في العالم ولبنان في العقد الأخير بين التاريخ وحقيقة الواقع", organized by the Order of Engineers and Architects on 28/11/2018 titled: "Soil structure interaction behavior under earthquake effects"

  • Attended "the teaching skills workshop", a total of 6 sessions by Dr. Wissam Chibani at BAU, Beirut Campus

  • Attended Scientific Research and Higher Education "Challenges and Perspectives”, Unesco palace
